My culinary style has evolved out of a simple joy of cooking and service. Self-taught under the watchful eye of mentors, I developed a varied foundation and a deep respect for the privilege I hold as a chef in your home. With this privilege, I am truly honored to provide the gift of nourishment.

To sustain my artistry in the kitchen and your experience as the diner, I gather the finest produce from those who take great joy in their craft. I turn to the inspired organic farmer and to the local small-boat fisherman who are passionate about their service. With their inspired goods, I am able to bring you a remarkable meal and unforgettable dining experience.

Born in Seattle, I spent my formative years in Alaska. I traveled Southeast Asia directly after graduation and continued on to southwest Colorado to pursue an adventure in higher education. In the middle of my college career, I traveled self-contained on bicycle through Europe for an extended summer season. Upon my return to Colorado, I experienced a conflict of educational conscious and traveled to Hawaii duing a course break. I fell in love with the Island and her culture, and never looked back. In 1998, Hawaii became my forvever home where I am raising my 3 children. I feel blessed every day to live inspired and share my passion with locals and visitors alike.
